Scrooge isn\u2019t the only one who can\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"color: #1982d1;\" title=\"Vision Climb\" href=\"https:\/\/mountaintopmentoring.com\/?page_id=55\" target=\"_blank\">make a change for the better<\/a><span style=\"color: #373737;\">. I can and you can. Elder Richard G. Scott promised, \u201cThe best way to make a permanent change for good is to make Jesus Christ your model and His teachings your guide for life\u201d (<\/span><a style=\"color: #1982d1;\" title=\"A Personal Study Plan\" href=\"https:\/\/mountaintopmentoring.com\/?page_id=238\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cHe Lives! All Glory to His Name!\u201d<\/a><span style=\"color: #373737;\">). Please join me and invite your family and friends to join us in keeping Christmas all the year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BTO7-Jarl-E?rel=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Blessed\u00a0are\u00a0the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Blessed\u00a0are\u00a0they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Blessed\u00a0are\u00a0the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Blessed\u00a0are\u00a0they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Blessed\u00a0are\u00a0the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Blessed\u00a0are\u00a0the pure in heart: for they shall see God.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Blessed\u00a0are\u00a0the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Blessed\u00a0are\u00a0they which are persecuted for righteousness\u2019 sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Blessed are ye, when\u00a0men\u00a0shall revile you, and persecute\u00a0you,and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great\u00a0is\u00a0your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.\u00a0Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lds.org\/scriptures\/nt\/matt\/5.1-16?lang=eng#primary\" target=\"_blank\">Matthew 5:1-16<\/a>.)<\/em><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Points to Ponder:<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li><em>Beatitude\u00a0<\/em>derives from the Latin <em>beatus<\/em> which means to bless or make happy. How has practicing a beatitude blessed your life or made you happier?<\/li>\n<li>Attitude refers to our manner of thinking and being as well as our manner of acting and doing. Many of us make and follow &#8220;to do&#8221; lists, but when was the list time you created a &#8220;to be&#8221; list.
